Loved the amazing view from my balcony! The room was super small.

.Good view of harbor from room
Hotel seems to be run by two ladies who haven't much interest in the hotel. Even tho we guaranteed with credit card, when we checked out would only take Euros which required us to walk to an ATM a couple of blocks away. Do not consider this place if youu have a car. There is no parking anywhere. I got a $100 overtime ticket while parked in an area that I was told was parking for tourists. Left my key at the desk in the morning. It was not put away and was in same place when I came back. Also my passport

For those who do not get sea views, there are some common areas where you can enjoy it.
The bathroom in my room was in a very rustic condition. The toilet seat was about to collapse each time you would sit on it. Some tiles were broken. It needed a serious renovation. The decoration in the room and in the lobby is quite old fashioned with pieces of artwork like in museums. The dining room has great views but is not welcoming. In any case you would rather sit outside to enjoy your breakfast.

The hotel staff, especially Manos and Gina, were warm and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay. The room was spotless daily, and the location was perfect, central to everything with beautiful views. Would definitely recommend this place!

Free Wi-Fi was excellent and the service was very good. The place had a quiet atmosphere. Had best possible and top location on where to eat beaches to visit, few metres away from Chania Town...

The Amphitriti hotel is ideally located to enjoy and visit Chania. As it was low season, we got a room with an incredibly wide terrace (maybe 36 m^2, much larger than the room) and the best possible view of the Venetian harbour - at no extra charge. However this terrace is normally to be shared with the adjacent room - which fortunately was vacant. If not, say goodbye to your privacy, and hope your neighbours will not feast all night. The hotel is old-fashioned but clean; we didn't check TV or Internet, and we don't believe in miracles ...
There is absolutely no service to be expected from the two elderly ladies who were keeping the house. Breakfast was optional, but not available; we had to pay cash although Visa was to be accepted according to the booking conditions. As Booked.net wisely asks to refrain from using offending language, we won't write any further. A room without sea view is a dull experience (we checked one). The elevator is dangerous. We are puzzled by the fact that by 2001-04-21 there is only one guest review about this hotel on Booked.net.

The rooms were tidy with a view and balcony, the staff were super friendly and amiable. Location: the hotel was not far from restaurants, beaches and places, Close to bars, and the old port with the cafe shops, restaurants, bars, and market.
There were small beds in our room.

The very nice hospitality from Katarina made us feel like we were at home, and the personalized local tips she provided greatly enhanced our experience.
The room, while well-designed and comfortable, was on the smaller side , made it a bit challenging to manage our luggage.

The fine harbor view from the room created a magical ambiance each evening. Staff were friendly and provided excellent local restaurant recommendations. The room felt smaller than expected, made managing luggage a bit tricky, and the parking situation was challenging due to the narrow streets. Daily beach towels were a nice touch, but we encountered some noise from adjacent rooms that disrupted our peace.

Chania vibes and beautiful views 🌊
The staff here are like chommies, especially Manos, always ready to share tips about where to eat and what to see. Our room had the most fine view of the Venetian harbour, and we loved chilling each evening watching the sunset. The overall vibe of the place is super relaxed and inviting!
Just a heads up, the room we had was a bit snug, but honestly, we were barely inside with so much to explore!

would stay there again
The room had a comfy bed, air conditioning, and a lovely balcony with great views. It also included a coffee machine, refrigerator, and a tv. The bathroom was well-equipped with free toiletries and a hairdryer. The owners were super helpful, offering personalized tips and a warm atmosphere. Plus, enjoyed the spa facilities!

Room sizes can be on the smaller side, which might not suit everyone, especially those with extra luggage. Noise levels from adjacent rooms and thin walls can disrupt the peace you might be hoping for. Parking can be a hassle due to the narrow streets, which may require some planning. Breakfast options could be better. It's not included, and variety seemed limited. The entrance lacks the contemporary charm found in the rooms, and some bathrooms have space constraints that could be inconvenient during busy periods. While there are some bumps, the location and views do help balance things out.
